A first laundry in Dar ElHanoun: thanks to generous contributions from supporters in Europe and the US, the residents of Dar ElHanoun have been able to purchase a power generator and two washing machines. The new laundry is used by all the residents, who have so far been using primitive washing facilities: manual laundry, or machines without water heating working on solar electric panels. This is the first time that standard washing machines are used in the 80 years old village. This situation is due to the refusal of the State of Israel to connect Dar ElHanoun to the electricity grid.
