Around 100 people held a vigil on Friday, 14th March from 11:00 to 12:30 am in front of the office of the German head of government Angela Merkel.
Different organizations took part in the protest: Peace organizations, The Jewish Voice for a Just Peace in the Middle East – German Section of EJJP, The Palestinian Students’ Union, the International Solidarity Movement Germany and the Middle East Group Berlin, which originally had called for the protest. The occasion of the protest is Mrs Merkel’s visit to Israel between the 16th and the 18th of March.
Among the banners in the vigil, in German, English, Arabic and Hebrew: "Recognize all villages in Israel", "Recognize Dar ElHanoun".
